Ping An Insurance (Group) Co's life insurance unit booked 92.09 billion yuan (US$13.5 billion) in premium income in the first 11 months of this year, the company said, without providing a comparative figure for 2007.

The Hong Kong-listed company's property and casualty insurance unit posted 24.57 billion yuan in premiums, Ping An said in a statement filed to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange yesterday. Health insurance premium income totaled 27.6 million yuan, the statement said.
