The 2025 China Home Furnishing Expo commenced on Thursday at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) and the Capital International Exhibition Center of China, marking the first time an expo has been held across two venues in Beijing. This development signals its exhibition industry's shift toward a more clustered and integrated model.

The Capital International Exhibition Center is located north of the Shunyi Hall. The two venues have a total construction area of over 800,000 square meters, including more than 300,000 square meters of indoor exhibition space, according to Ji Qing, CEO of the Capital International Exhibition Center of China.

Together, the two venues account for over 50% of Beijing's total indoor exhibition area, making them the fifth largest exhibition complex in China. This significantly enhances the city's capacity to host large-scale exhibitions.

Running until Sunday, the furnishing expo spans a total exhibition area of 100,000 square meters and features over 3,000 home furnishing enterprises. Exhibits cover 14 core categories, including smart furniture, customized furniture, and decorative materials.

More than 20 professional forums and themed events will be held alongside the exhibition. The expo serves as a matchmaking platform for brands, distributors, and retailers, facilitating a seamless sales loop that integrates display, experience, trade, and services.

From April 21 to 26, the two venues will jointly host the 19th China International Machine Tool Show, utilizing 17 indoor exhibition halls and covering a total exhibition space of over 310,000 square meters. This expansion is expected to set new records in the number of participating enterprises, exhibition scale, and professional attendees.

Moving forward, the two venues will further enhance integration, resource sharing, and complementary advantages. This collaboration is set to boost regional economic growth, elevate Beijing's international profile, and drive the city's economic development.
