Monks walk by the building of Lhakang Temple, 110 kilometers to Kangding City in southwest China's Sichuan Province, March 4, 2009. As one of the temples in Sakya Sect of Tibetan Buddhism, the Lhakang Temple has spanned over 1,000 years, with a construction style of Tibetan and Han ethnic groups. The temple worships a statue of Princess Wen Cheng, which is considered as a commemoration for the exchange between Tibetan and Han ethnic groups.
