| 大氣霧霾和水污染治理已經成為各地方政府工作的重點，多位國家領導人多次調研河北等重工業(yè)重污染省份地區(qū)，政府工作報告又明確提出建設“天藍、地綠、水清”的美麗中國，說明中國政府已經下決心走出一條經濟發(fā)展與環(huán)境改善雙贏之路。 | Effectively dealing with smog and water pollution has topped many local governments' agendas. A number of state leaders have made research trips to areas severely polluted by heavy industry, such as Hebei Province. This year's Government Work Report envisions a "beautiful China where the sky is blue, the land is green and the water is clear"--illustrating the government's determination to take a path that leads to both economic development and improvement of the environment. |

| 2015年年底，黨中央國務院制定的《法治政府建設實施綱要 (2015-2020年) 》對外發(fā)布，綱要對未來5年法治政府建設進行了總體規(guī)劃。此次報告再次強調，說明建設法治政府、創(chuàng)新政府、廉潔政府和服務型政府，不僅是政府自身建設所需，更是人民群眾所需，時代發(fā)展所需。 | The Central Government issued guidelines on building a law-based government at the end of 2015. This put forward the overall plans for the next five years. By reaffirming this goal, the Government Work Report showed that a law-based, innovative, clean and service-oriented government is not only what the government aspires to turn itself into but also where public interest lies. |

| 實施更加積極的就業(yè)政策，鼓勵以創(chuàng)業(yè)帶動就業(yè)；要實現(xiàn)大病保險全覆蓋，讓更多大病患者減輕負擔；繼續(xù)提高退休人員養(yǎng)老金標準……報告內容中處處體現(xiàn)著對民生的關切，并以切實的措施來保障各項指標的實現(xiàn)。 | China will implement a more proactive employment policy and encourage entrepreneurship to create jobs. This policy also aims to realize full insurance coverage for serious diseases in order to reduce more patients' financial burdens. Additionally, It will continue to raise basic pension benefits for retirees. All of these policy statements exemplify the government's concern about people's livelihoods and a commitment to taking concrete measures to accomplish various goals. |

| 2016年年初，習近平總書記首訪中東，二十國集團領導人峰會即將在杭州舉行，中國外交將更有作為。但同樣也面臨著挑戰(zhàn)，在中日關系、南海問題、朝核問題等面前也將一如既往地踐行我們的外交理念。 | In President Xi Jinping's first overseas trip in early 2016, he visited the Middle East. Later this year, China will also host the G20 Summit in Hangzhou. While China becomes a more active player on the global stage, challenges still abound. It will continue to practice its diplomatic vision when coping with issues such as Sino-Japanese relations, the South China Sea, and North Korea's nuclear program. |
