Separating waste

Some 2,600 government departments, Olympic venues, restaurants, supermarkets and office buildings in Beijing will work to separate their garbage into recyclable and non-recyclable materials before the upcoming Olympic Games.

Beijing hopes that half of its garbage will be divided by next year.
