Common Prosperity

Common prosperity is an essential requirement of socialism with Chinese characteristics and an important feature of Chinese modernization. Poverty is not socialism. This has been a basic position of the CPC on the issue of development since the introduction of reform and opening up in the late 1970s, and it is on this basis that common prosperity has gradually become a goal of the Chinese people. Common prosperity is for all the people, both materially and spiritually; it is neither prosperity for a few, nor absolute egalitarianism.

Since the Party's 18th National Congress, China has organized and implemented the largest and most determined battle against poverty in human history, which benefited the largest number of people. A total of 832 impoverished counties and close to 100 million poor rural residents have been lifted out of poverty, and among them, more than 9.6 million poverty-stricken people have been relocated from inhospitable areas. The Chinese nation has, once and for all, resolved the problem of absolute poverty in China, realizing its millennia-old dream of moderate prosperity. Achieving moderate prosperity in all respects is a very solid and crucial step toward common prosperity. Poverty elimination, moderate prosperity in all respects and common prosperity are the goals that the Chinese people have been unitedly working hard for under the leadership of the CPC. These goals reflect that socialist modernization features continuous stages, with one major goal at one stage, and that the CPC has deepened its understanding of poverty reduction and relevant practicable measures.

Common prosperity, both materially and spiritually, will promote the well-rounded development of individuals and the overall progress of society, representing the CPC's people-centered values and pursuit.

共同富裕

共同富裕是中國(guó)特色社會(huì)主義的本質(zhì)要求，是中國(guó)式現(xiàn)代化的重要特征。貧窮不是社會(huì)主義，這是改革開(kāi)放以來(lái)，中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨對(duì)于發(fā)展問(wèn)題的一個(gè)基本立場(chǎng)，也正是在此基礎(chǔ)上，共同富裕被逐漸明確為一個(gè)目標(biāo)。共同富裕是全體人民共同富裕，是人民群眾物質(zhì)生活和精神生活都富裕，不是少數(shù)人的富裕，也不是整齊劃一的平均主義。

中共十八大以來(lái)，中國(guó)組織實(shí)施了人類(lèi)歷史上規(guī)模最大、力度最強(qiáng)、惠及人口最多的脫貧攻堅(jiān)戰(zhàn)，全國(guó)832個(gè)貧困縣全部摘帽，近一億農(nóng)村貧困人口實(shí)現(xiàn)脫貧，960多萬(wàn)貧困人口實(shí)現(xiàn)易地搬遷，歷史性解決了絕對(duì)貧困問(wèn)題，實(shí)現(xiàn)了小康這個(gè)中華民族的千年夢(mèng)想。全面小康是走向共同富裕的關(guān)鍵一步。脫貧攻堅(jiān)、全面小康、共同富裕，貫穿于中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨團(tuán)結(jié)帶領(lǐng)人民艱苦奮斗的不平凡歷程，體現(xiàn)了社會(huì)主義現(xiàn)代化建設(shè)連續(xù)性和階段性的統(tǒng)一，體現(xiàn)了中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨對(duì)解決貧困問(wèn)題在認(rèn)識(shí)和實(shí)踐上的深化。

共同富裕既是物質(zhì)上的富有，也是精神上的富足，促進(jìn)人的全面發(fā)展和社會(huì)全面進(jìn)步，體現(xiàn)了中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨以人民為中心的價(jià)值追求。
