Acupuncture and moxibustion

Acupuncture and moxibustion are two forms of therapy in traditional Chinese medicine. They are the most commonly used external methods for disease prevention and treatment. Both methods act by stimulating the meridians and acupuncture points. They are often used in combination in traditional Chinese medicine and health care.

Acupuncture therapy involves the use of fine metal needles to stimulate specific acupuncture points on the body, utilizing various techniques to regulate the meridians and adjust the flow of qi and blood. Moxibustion therapy slowly warms specific acupuncture points on the body using moxa sticks or moxa cones made from compressed mugwort. The gentle heat and medicinal properties of moxibustion help to warm the meridians, alleviate cold symptoms, and enhance the circulation of qi and blood. Acupuncture and moxibustion therapy offers convenience, with rapid and significant effects at low medical cost and almost no side effects. Moreover, they can be used in conjunction with other therapies to provide comprehensive treatment. Due to these unique advantages, the value of acupuncture and moxibustion therapy has been widely recognized.

Acupuncture and moxibustion therapy was introduced to countries such as Japan, Korea and Vietnam as early as the Tang Dynasty (618-907). The therapy has now spread to over 140 countries and regions, and plays an important role in healthcare worldwide. More and more people have benefited from the therapeutic effects of acupuncture and the wonders of traditional Chinese medicine.

針灸

針灸是中醫針刺療法和艾灸療法的總稱，是中醫治療疾病、預防保健最常用的兩種外治方法。這兩種方法均是通過刺激經絡、穴位，達到防病、治病的目的，在中醫治療保健中經常配合使用，故合稱為針灸。

針刺療法是用金屬制成的細針，運用不同手法，刺入身體一定穴位，以一定的手法疏通經絡、調理氣血。艾灸療法是點燃用艾絨搓成的艾條或艾炷，緩慢溫熏人體穴位，借助艾條燃燒的溫和熱力、藥物作用，溫經散寒、溫通氣血。針灸療法簡便易行，療效迅速顯著，醫療成本較低，幾乎沒有副作用，而且可以協同其他療法進行綜合治療。由于具有這些獨特優勢，長期以來，針灸療法一直深受人們的認可。

早在唐代，中國針灸就已經傳播到日本、朝鮮、越南等國家。截至目前，針灸已經傳播到世界140多個國家和地區，為保障各國人民生命安全和身體健康發揮了重要作用， 越來越多的人體驗到了針灸的療效和中醫的神奇。
