Weekly Weather Forecast (Mar. 21 to 27)

Northwest China: March 21 to 22, southern and eastern Qinghai, southern Gansu and southern Shaanxi will be overcast with light rain or snowfall, then skies will clear, while eastern portions of the region will have force 4 to 5 northerly winds and temperatures dropping 4 to 6 degrees Celsius. March 23 to 24, most of the region will be under sunny to cloudy skies with warmer temperatures. March 25 to 27, rain or snow will continue to fall in northern Xinjiang and eastern portions of the northwest, but less heavily.

 

North China: March 21, eastern sections of Inner Mongolia will see light to moderate snowfall, while most of the region will have force 5 to 6 northerly winds with temperatures dropping 4 to 8 degrees Celsius; temperatures in some parts of Inner Mongolia will drop more than 10 degrees. March 22 to 23, most of north China will be dominated by sunny skies with force 3 to 4 northerly winds. March 24 to 26, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy with temperatures warming. March 27, a weak stream of cold air will bring light rain or snowfall to some parts of north China.

 

Northeast China: March 21 to 23, most of the region will have light to moderate snowfall with heavy snow expected in the central and northernmost sections, accompanied by force 4 to 6 southerly, then northerly winds. Temperatures will drop 4 to 8 degrees Celsius. March 24 to 26, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy with temperatures warming up. March 27, another stream of cold air will affect the region, bringing rainy or snowy days as well as strong winds.

 

Central China: March 21 to 22, most of the region will have light to moderate rainfall, while southeastern parts of Hubei Province and some of Hunan Province will get heavy rainfall to rainstorms; Henan Province and northern Hubei Province will be buffeted by force 4 to 5 northerly winds while temperatures throughout most of the region will drop 4 to 8 degrees Celsius. March 23 to 24, most of central China will be sunny to cloudy with possible morning fog in some areas. March 25 to 27, most of the region will become overcast with light to moderate rainfall accompanied by heavy rain in some places. 

 

East China: March 21 to 23, most of the region will receive light to moderate rain, while some areas of Jiangsu, Anhui, Jiangxi, Zhejiang and Fujian provinces will see heavy rainfall and storms, accompanied by force 4 to 6 northerly winds and temperatures dropping 4 to 8 degrees Celsius. Temperatures in some segments will drop more than 8 degrees Celsius. March 24 to 25, most of the east will be sunny to cloudy with temperatures warming. March 26 to 27, most of the region will see more precipitation.

 

South China: March 21 to 23, most of the region will have light to moderate rainfall with heavy rain expected in some of the central and northern sections, accompanied by temperatures dropping 4 to 6 degrees Celsius. March 24 to 25, southernmost and western sections will be overcast with possible light snowfall, while the rest of the region will be sunny to cloudy. March 26 to 27, most of the south will get light to moderate rain moving from east to west, with heavy rainfall expected in some areas.

 

Southwest China: March 21 to 23, most of the region will have light to moderate rain or snow, while some of Guizhou Province will receive heavy rainfall. Temperatures will fall 4 to 8 degrees Celsius. March 24 to 26, most of the region will continue to be under overcast skies with light rain or snowfall, while some eastern parts of the region will encounter moderate to heavy rain.
