Weekly Weather Forecast (February 27 to March 5)

Northwest China: February 27: eastern parts of the region can expect light to moderate snow or sleet. February 28 to March 1: northern Xinjiang will be cloudy to overcast with light snow or rain, while other parts of the region will be sunny to cloudy with warm weather. March 2 to 3: streams of cold air will affect northern Xinjiang and western Gansu, with winds, rain or snow.

 

North China: February 27: central and southern parts will be overcast with light snow or sleet. February 28 to March 2: most of the region will be sunny to cloudy with high temperatures. March 3 to 4: a stream of cold air will blow throughout the region, bringing overcast skies and force 4 to 5 northerly winds with light rain or snow in some areas, while temperatures will also drop. March 5: the region should see sunny to cloudy skies with higher temperatures.

 

Northeast China: February 27 to 28: southern parts will be overcast with light rain or snow, while other parts of the region will be sunny to cloudy with higher temperatures. March 1 to 2: central and northernmost parts will be overcast with possible light rain or snow. March 3 to 5: affected by streams of cold air, most of the region will experience light to moderate snow or sleet with force 4 to 6 southerly turning to northerly winds, accompanied by lower temperatures, while some of the southern parts can expect heavy snowfall.

 

Central China: February 27 to 28: most of the region will be overcast with light to moderate rainfall or snow with low temperatures. March 1 to 2: most areas will see sunny to cloudy skies with higher temperatures. March 3 to 5: affected by streams of both cold and warm airs, most of the region will get light rain or snow with moderate rainfall expected in some southern sections. Northern sections can expect force 3 to 4 northerly winds with lower temperatures.

 

East China: February 27 to 28: most of the region will be overcast with light to moderate rain or sleet with lower temperatures. March 1 to 2: most of the region will be sunny to cloudy with higher temperatures. March 3 to 5: affected by streams of cold air, most of the region will see light to moderate rain or snow with force 4 to 5 northerly winds and low temperatures are expected in the northern sections and eastern coastal areas.

 

South China: February 27 to 28: most of the region will have light to moderate rain with lower temperatures. March 1 to 2: it will be sunny to cloudy skies for most parts with warm weather while the coastal areas and Hainan Island can expect light rainfall. March 3 to 5: most of the region will have light to moderate rain moving from west to east.

 

Southwest China: February 27 to 28: eastern sections will be overcast with light rain or snow with a drop in temperature. March 1 to 3: eastern Tibet and eastern sections of the region should expect light to moderate rain or snow. March 4 to 5: most of the region will be sunny to cloudy while the Sichuan Basin will see morning fog. The interface areas of Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan provinces will be overcast and some rain is forecast.
