Major cast members of the crime film Mad Detective appeared together in Hong Kong Tuesday at the film's premiere, reported the Hong Kong-based publication Tungstar.

The film, co-directed by Johnnie To and Wai Ka-fai, was the Surprise Film of the 2007 Venice International Film Festival.

Cast members of the film include Lau Ching Wan, Andy On, Lam Ka Tung and Flora Chan.

Lau Ching Wan, an intuitive detective in the movie, said that cooperation with the director was quite pleasant since he and Jonnie To are old friends.

The actor also told the report that he will join Wai Ka-fai's next film, playing a blind person for the first time.
