Researchers in Tanzania are developing traps using foot odors to lure mosquitoes and prevent them from spreading diseases like malaria, according to a story on LiveScience.com.
The study has found that the stinky foot smell -- either from smelly socks or synthetic bait -- is about four times more attractive to mosquitoes than the smell of a human.
