A German woman is facing 15 years behind bars after robbing the bank where she worked to pay for breast-enlargement surgery, the Daily Mail reported.

Mandy Lorenz, 23, was obsessed with her bust but never had enough money for implants. In May 2011 she recruited three men to rob her at a time when she and a trainee would be the only employees in the Sparkasse savings bank in Werl.

Armed with an air pistol and a knife, they threatened her on cue and walked off with 95,000 euros (US$122,700). After telling police about the shock of the stick-up, she telephoned a cosmetic surgery to arrange for a breast enhancement operation.

The three men will separately be sentenced next month.
