Italian fashion house Stefanel is no stranger to the Chinese market, as they first arrived in 1992; however, they weren't able to make much headway at the time, due to the relatively immature market.

This time round, things are looking more promising, particularly given Beijing ladies' fondness for the casual yet modern styles that Stefanel offers. Their forte is knitwear, but their Spring/Summer collection is equally impressive. A holiday theme defined the collection. We liked the flattering African-striped bustier dress (RMB 2,680) and the white leather moon bag (RMB 1,180).
