Bayern overpowered Bochum 3-1 thanks to a triple by youngster striker Thomas Mueller to lock the 22nd Bundesliga title on Saturday, while Bremen destroyed Schalkes' champion dreams with a 2-0 victory.
Bayern started aggressively and confidently, with the Champions League final on the back, and collected some goal scoring scenes but Ivica Olic's shot went just wide minutes after the starting whistle.

In the 18th minute, Thomas Mueller deflected a cross by defender Phillip Lahm with his chest to open the scoring.

Only two minutes later, Bayern doubled the lead as Lahm passed across the goal to Franck Ribery, who volleyed the ball back into the area for a running Mueller to head under the crossbar.

Bayern retracted and lurked for counters but Bochum was absolutely unable to threat Bayern's defence.

With 69 minutes into the match, Mueller shrugged off three Bochum defenders and netted into bottom left to complete his hat-trick.
