Having lost weight, looking in the best shape, having realized his "secret escape" place on the Spanish island of Mallorca in the form of an enchanting farmhouse, former Liverpool hero Jurgen Klopp seems to have recharged his batteries.

Seven months after he resigned from Liverpool, following nine successful years, the 57-year-old seemed perfectly prepared for his new life as "Head of Global Soccer" for the energy drink manufacturer.

"I can tell you, I am not going to be a coach for a Red Bull club," the 2019 UEFA Champions League winner said at his kick-off press conference in Salzburg, Austria, after having signed a five-year contract.

Klopp excluded thinking about becoming German national coach "as we have one of the best. Julian Nagelsmann had the biggest impact of all coaches over the past years."

The German said he has changed sides now and is eager to explore new shores.

"I used my last months to recover. I am a normal employee, one trying to connect different clubs and sports and give my share of experience," Klopp added.

The German said he is now part of a thrilling journey after he had left Liverpool, admitting he ran out of energy after his over 20 years as a coach.

"The world is my office," Klopp said and announced to help develop talents by providing his expertise. "I won't tell any of our coaches how to do things."

His main issue is to develop various strategies by using the expertise of all involved. "Sometimes it is of value to have the view from outside. Of course, there is still a coach's soul living inside me. But the new job is exactly what I wanted to do. Yes, I am a kind of advisor."

Klopp said he is curious about getting into things of other sports such as Formula One, tennis, or extreme sports.

"I am sure football can benefit from their approach as it is the same the other way around," the former Mainz manager said.

He said counter-pressing is a compulsory law for Red Bull clubs. "Have 80 percent of ball possession, but when you lose the ball, get it back as fast as possible," he added after having visited German first-flight side RB Leipzig, the FC RB Paris, and the ice-hockey side of EHC Munchen.

Over the upcoming weeks, Klopp is going to visit the RB farm team of Bragantino in Brazil, RB New York, and the Japanese second-division side of Omiya Ardija in Tokyo.

Klopp said Red Bull clubs are challengers in several countries, and he hopes to help get the clubs "nearer to titles."

To provide his share for success and progress is the most pressing issue, the 2011 and 2012 German champion said.

"I am not just a passenger or a celebrity in the room. This is about taking benefit of the synergy effects and serious."
