Emei Mountain, standing in Emeishan City in the southwest part of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is renowned for its sacred Buddhist culture and amazing natural beauty. Different from other snowy mountains, Mount Emei has two distinct sceneries in the winter. Around foothills, flourishing leaves and gurgling creeks make it as green and beautiful as in the summer. While above the altitude of 2,000 meters, it is a world of snow and ice. The whole mountain is covered with white carpet, and the trees are decorated in rime.
