Horm Village in Xinjiang
Horm Village is located in Northeast China within the Altay mountain range in Northern Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Also referred to as Hemu in Chinese, it is the home of the Tuva People, a small ethnic minority group of Mongolian descent. Late September is the best time to see the autumn colors and the shifting of the herdsman before the winter arrives in mid-October. [Photo by Cheng Weidong]
