FCm Travel Solutions, one of the world's leading travel management companies, recently launched its conference and event management brand, CiEvents, in Hong Kong.

One of the world's largest full-service event management businesses, CiEvents will provide Hong Kong clients with conferences, incentive travel, large-scale annual meetings, and MICE services.

In Hong Kong, CiEvents is headed by business director Carly Lewis, who has many years experience in the US and Hong Kong MICE sectors.

According to David Fraser, the general manager for FCm Greater China, as China continues to grow in the world market, MICE activity in Hong Kong has increased: over the past 12 months in particular. Because it is an international destination, Hong Kong has rebounded well from the global downturn and meeting and incentive activity is gaining momentum there.

He also said that CiEvents has operated in Shanghai since 2008, but with the growing demand for MICE services in Hong Kong they had relocated the business from Shanghai to Hong Kong, which they see as the future hub for event management activity in the region.
