Shahu 750 kV power transmission project was put into operation on Jul. 31, which marked three in four 750 kV power transmission projects in Ningxia have been completed.

The four 750 kV power transmission projects, namely, shahu power transmission project, helanshan-huanghe route Ⅱ project, expansion of huanghe transmission station and that of helanshan station, will supply power for the whole province.

By 2017, Ningxia is expected to deliver 12 million kW electricity elsewhere, indicating that Ningxia Electric Power would meet the needs in and outside Ningxia. These power projects will enhance the power supply conditions of needy areas at large and improve the overall capability of its power transmission and distribution.

The completion of the four projects will signify a new era for Ningxia Electric Power, said a representative of Ningxia Electric Power in an Aug. 2 interview.
