Summer is the best time to visit Mount Emei in Emeishan city, Sichuan, for the serene mountain offers a respite from the summer heat among lush vegetation. Endemic to Mount Emei, the resplendent Rhododendron faberi flowers are in full bloom late May, attracting thousands to the Golden Summit daily.
