Microsoft says Windows 7 stresses simplicity of operation and sharing, with the focus on human-computer interface. The company says the new program will make it easier to search and use information.
The company says it expects Windows 7 to boost demand on the PC market. It has not yet made public the amount spent on promoting the product.
