Dung said the traditional friendship between Vietnam and China is forged by generations of leaders of the two countries. He said he expected the two parties, two states and two peoples of Vietnam and China to look at bilateral ties from the perspective of broad common interests and continuously advance traditional friendship and bilateral ties.

Dung said Vietnam is ready to strengthen coordination and promote cooperation with China to push forward bilateral military ties and contribute to bilateral relations.

For his part, Liang said China-Vietnam relations have seen continuous development in recent years with fruitful outcomes in politics, economy, military, security, culture and many other sectors.
