Local authorities of Cincinnati in the U.S. state of Ohio said six people were wounded in a shooting during a party on Sunday morning.

The six were shot when a man appeared at the private gathering and opened fire at the partygoers, police said.

Among the victims, three males remained in critical or serious condition, while the other three, including a female, were released from hospital on Sunday.

Located in the southwest corner of Ohio, Cincinnati has a population of about 330,000.
