KHARTOUM -- The Sudanese government announced Monday that it has agreed to build UN logistical supply bases in North Darfur State in western Sudan.
"The Government of Sudan has agreed on the United Nations' request to establish logistical supply bases around El Fasher to facilitate humanitarian work in Mellit and Tawila areas," Sudan's Transitional Sovereign Council said in a statement. (Sudan-UN-Logistical Supply Bases)

TEHRAN -- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Monday that Iran is open to reaching an agreement with the United States in ongoing indirect talks, provided that the country's national interests are preserved.
"In the negotiations with the United States, we are ready for an agreement within a defined framework and while ensuring our national interests," Pezeshkian said during a meeting in Tehran. (Iran-US-Deal)

JERUSALEM -- Israel's military said on Monday that it carried out more than 200 airstrikes across the Gaza Strip over the past three days, killing a member of the Islamic Jihad movement.

SANAA -- Yemen's Houthi group said on Monday that it had launched fresh attacks at two Israeli targets and two U.S. aircraft carriers, using drones and cruise missiles.
