It's a real pleasure and a privilege to be invited to close the China Britain Business Council's third annual China Business Conference.	很榮幸被邀請參與英中貿易協會組織的第三屆中國商務會議。
It's just over a week since I returned from China, having spent two fantastic days alongside His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge at the GREAT Festival of Creativity in Shanghai.	一個多星期以前，我剛從中國回來，在上海創意英倫盛典上與劍橋公爵殿下度過了不可思議的兩天。
I think everyone felt they had been part of something truly special.	我想每一位參與者都感到自己體驗了一場真正特殊的盛典。
The Duke described the Festival as making a statement that the UK is excited about partnering with China.	公爵表示創意英倫盛典的舉辦說明英國非常愿意成為中國的合作伙伴。
You could feel the excitement in the air.	你甚至能感覺到連空氣中都夾雜著一絲興奮。
So too the conviction that the future successes of our economies will be shared successes.	我也堅信中英兩國的經濟在未來能夠共同發展，走向成功。
UK creativity	英國的創造力
This was the most incredible coming together of creative talent from Britain and China.	能夠將英國和中國具有創造性天賦的人才聚集到一起這是最不可思議的事情。
I know I wasn't alone in feeling immensely proud that Britain can boast such amazing imagination and innovation, not just in our creative industries but in all sectors of our economy.	我知道我不是唯一一個為英國有神奇的想像力和創造力而感到自豪的人，這不僅僅表現在英國的創意產業，而且體現在英國各個行業。
I was equally struck by how many of our businesses said they themselves felt inspired by China's own incredible history and cultural heritage, and the sheer scale and dynamism of modern China.	我很震驚許多英國企業表示他們被中國驚人的歷史文化遺產中國現代化的經濟規模和市場活力所鼓舞。
The GREAT Festival was living proof of something the UK and Chinese governments have believed for some time.	創意英倫盛典是英國和中國政府共同打造。
Namely that as China continues its reform journey, our two economies are becoming more and more complementary.	隨著中國改革繼續深化，兩國的經濟變得越來越為互補。
China's domestic market is becoming more competitive. Its companies are looking to move up the value chain and access new markets.	中國國內市場的競爭變得越來越激烈。中國企業正在尋找機會提升價值鏈、開拓新市場。
The UK has the creative and innovative capabilities to help them succeed, and get access to new sources of investment and huge new markets in return.	英國有創造性和創新能力幫助他們成功，作為回報英國能夠獲得新的投資來源和進入新興市場的渠道。
The power of partnership	合作伙伴的力量
As the GREAT Festival proved, this is generating a tremendous appetite on both sides to build new partnerships and collaborations to create something new together.	正如創意英倫盛典證明的那樣，有需求的雙方一起建立新的合作伙伴關系，一起合作，一起創造出新的東西。
The breakthrough bilateral Film Co-production Treaty is a great example.	具有突破性進展的兩國《電影合作協議》就是一個很好的例子。
This will allow qualifying co-productions to access sources of finance and an easier distribution route to audiences.	符合條件的兩國聯合制作影片可以從兩國政府那里獲得資金來源并且簡化發行渠道和審核程序。
And all eligible co-productions will be able to be shown in China, meaning Chinese audiences will be able to enjoy many more British films than under the current quota system.	所有符合條件的合拍影片都能夠在中國播出，這就意味著中國觀眾能夠觀賞比當前英國電影配額制度下更多的英國電影。
Take Pinewood Studios, which is working with Wanda Group to develop their mega studios in Qingdao.	英國頭號制片公司松林制片廠（Pinewood Studios）正在同萬達集團合作在青島開發大型電影公司。
Or Royal Mail, which has launched a new shop front on Alibaba's Tmall Global e-marketplace to give British retailers and exporters quick and easy access to the Chinese market and direct contact with Chinese customers.	英國皇家郵政已經在阿里巴巴旗下的天貓全球商城上開了新的店面，它給英國零售商和出口商提供快速進入中國市場和直接與中國客戶接觸的機會。

And just last week, we saw Thomas Cook form a strategic partnership with the Chinese conglomerate Fosun under which the two companies will invest in Thomas Cook's concept range of hotels and expand the offering to China.	就在上周,我們看到托馬斯·庫克（Thomas Cook）與中國企業復星集團形成戰略伙伴關系,兩家公司將投資于托馬斯·庫克的概念酒店并且將在中國進行旅游投資。
