Dumped chemicals in Yangtze River 'cleared'

The picture taken on September 10, 2008 shows a sewage treatment plant in Zigui County, Hubei Province. The county has completed 14 garbage and sewage treatment projects in recent years with daily sewage treatment capacity reaching 31,100 tons and daily garbage treatment capacity reaching 1.48 million tons. The county has become a safe environmental protective screen of the Yangtze River.
