A pheasant heralds at the break of every single day outside the window of a farmer's house in Jiangjin District, Chongqing municipality.
Zhang Wenlong, the farmer in Xiaba township, said he discovered the pheasant a month back.
"The pheasant comes to my yard every morning to wake me up," Zhang said.
Local animal experts believe the improved environment has increased the bird's population in the area.
