| For some newlyweds in China, wedding photos aren't sufficient. The latest fad in Shanghai is to hire a professional team to shoot a custom "love music video," the BBC reported. The film crew is a professional outfit while the "actors" are amateurs -- the bride and groom who are paying top dollar to recreate their romance. Currently, it's vogue to have a Korean pop star perform the soundtrack. Yang Dan, the producer of Youth Image Studio, which pioneered the concept, said that his clients are all from the post-80s generation. They show the video at the wedding and keep it as a memento of their youth. They want their weddings to be different from their parents' generation. |

| British children not fond of books are being encouraged to read -- by a dog named Breeze who visits their school, the Daily Mail reported. The youngsters sit with Breeze and read to him, and the improvement in their literary skills has astonished teachers. One boy, who hadn't spoken in school for two years, has been reading aloud to the dog. The trial of the Read2Dogs scheme, run by the charity Pets As Therapy, has been deemed so successful that it will be offered to schools nationwide next year. |
