Coca-Cola Shanxi Beverages Co. Ltd. on Friday announced the resignation of its general manager and the suspension of several employees after admitting that traces of chlorine were found in some of its drinks, Xinhua reported.

The company also made a public apology and said it has taken active corrective measures as the chlorine was mistakenly added during a routine pipe maintenance procedure.

David G. Brooks, president of Coca-Cola Greater China and Korea said consumers who have bought the suspect drinks could exchange them for new ones or ask for a refund.

同時(shí)，可口可樂(lè)公司正式道歉，表示會(huì)采取積極措施補(bǔ)救。公司承認(rèn)，山西廠(chǎng)在進(jìn)行管道維護(hù)過(guò)程中，由于工人操作失誤，將氯混入到飲料生產(chǎn)用水中。

可口可樂(lè)大中華及韓國(guó)區(qū)總裁魯大衛(wèi)稱(chēng)，公司同意對(duì)產(chǎn)品有疑慮的消費(fèi)者進(jìn)行換貨或退貨。
