男子專職起訴垃圾郵件 |
Daniel Balsam has taken his hatred for spam email far beyond hitting the delete button. Balsam sues spammers for a living, AP reported. Eight years ago, Balsam was working in marketing when he became enraged by the number of e-mails he received urging him to enlarge his breasts. He launched a Web site called Danhatesspam.com and quit his job to go to law school. He now makes a decent living suing companies who flood his e-mail inbox with offers of cheap drugs, free sex and unbelievable vacations. He has won well in excess of $1 million in court settlements from companies accused of sending illegal spam. |

Oranges beat popping vitamin pills |
吃橙子比維生素藥片好 |
Research published in the Journal of Food Science shows why eating an orange is much better for you than simply popping vitamin C and other pills, the Daily Telegraph reported. The unique mix of antioxidants in oranges work much more effectively together than they do separately, researchers at Brigham Young University in Utah discovered. Antioxidants slow the ageing process of cells, protect against cancer and may help ward off heart disease, although evidence for the latter claim has been contested. |
