| A 94-year-old Indian man claims he has become the country's oldest father, the Times of India reports. Ramajit Raghav, a farm laborer from Kharkhoda, said his wife, Shakuntala, who is in her mid-50s, recently gave birth to a son at Kharkhoda Civil Hospital. Hospital officials confirmed the birth but did not comment on who was the child's father. Raghav's claims would make him India's oldest father, edging out the previous record-holder who fathered his 22nd child at the age of 90 in 2007. Raghav said his son was "a gift from god" to him and his wife. Doctors say the child is in good health. |
